Description: The Site Construction Manager (SCM) will be responsible for the direct supervision of all aspects of the construction of a turnkey onsite Air Separation Plant for a customer located in central Alabama. • Establish and manage all site construction practice and protocol. • Manage all construction activities. • Management, control, and inventory all UIG-supplied materials arriving, stored, or to be used at site. • Direct management of all Contractors’ s execution of the work in strict accordance with each Contractor’s contract documents and to agreed and published budgets and schedules. • Manage all timesheet, record-keeping, progress reporting, and change-order control procedures according to UIG standards. • Liaison with UIG project engineering, main office, vendor representatives, customer representatives, service providers, and commissioning engineers. • Completion testing, customer acceptance, and handover of plant systems.
Requirements: 5-10 years practical experience directly related in all construction disciplines - civil, structural, mechanical, pipe, electrical, instrumentation, and buildings. A Degree in Construction Engineering, or other engineering discipline, is preferred but not essential. However, all education, field experience, and previous, related experience, and references, especially in cryogenic equipment and piping systems, shall be clear for all who are applying.
