Description: The individual will be responsible for providing equipment planning and technical support for semiconductor and the like equipment. This includes the ability to write specifications, converse technically with vendors, create equipment installation schedules, drive equipment installations, collaborate with equipment users and drive equipment start-ups. The individual must also have a life & safety background, PLC experience and equipment interlock experience. The candidate must have experience trouble shooting & designing 480V, 208V, 24V, UPS systems and equipment interlocks. The candidate must be able to work alone and in a team environment. The candidate must be able to interlock and provide support and guidance to trade electricians in the field. The individual must be knowledgeable of equipment interconnects and facility hook-ups. The individual must have a knowledge of how equipment loads will effect lab and building systems. This position requires proactive planning for upgrading facility systems to meet future equipment requirements.
Requirements: * *A. Design, Installation, modification and commissioning of semiconductor tools. *B. Life & safety systems *C. Tool safety interlocks. *D. Project management. *2. Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years’ experience, where applicable, in each skill: *Bachelor of Science preferred or Bachelor of Technology preferred *Power wiring. *Low voltage logic. *Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). *Supply air and exhaust systems. *Toxic gas monitoring. *Exhaust monitoring. *Smoke detectors *Fire Wire *CO2 fire suppression systems *Design L.J.
