Description: This position has overall responsibility to support/create all processes and systems of the administered plan for controlled documents and information management specifically for Asset Management Transmission Engineering (AMTE). Primary responsibilities include: • Help to develop, implement and manage projects, processes and procedures to assist all areas as directed by the needs of the AMTE Document Team. • Create and maintain a plan to clean up AMTE legacy document control systems/shared folders. • Work with group heads to identify, organize and execute data migration projects. • Participate in the execution of existing and new document migration initiatives/projects. • Assist with the development and implementation document control processes, procedures, specifications and standards. • Communicate all new or updated Document Controls processes, procedures, specifications and standards to relevant personnel • Create ad-hoc presentations and reports to display or track the status of migration projects. • Along with manager and document owners, develop a roll-out strategy for communications/change management where required for new or updated documentation. • Support employees, outside vendors, consultants and contractors as needed and directed • Help to identify and manage requirements for staff • Help to develop and track budget effectiveness/efficiency involving all document controls programs (systems, creation for all projects - all vendors/contractors, IT costs, etc.). • Assist with the enforcement of document control requirements and rules for standards • Perform administrative tasks when required [i.e. scanning] • Work with QA procedures to test and evaluate the system
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Limited or intermediate experience working with Engineering documentation • Limited experience working with Microstation or AutoCAD • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint. • Ability to interact with engineers and project personnel on technical matter • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must foster an inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity • Must demonstrate and value differences in others' strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices • Advanced experience/knowledge of documentation systems such as McLaren, ProjectWise, ECM, etc. • Project management experience • Advanced knowledge of computer technology, especially in regards to working with folder systems. • Proven expertise in gathering business requirements, building sites and training clients. Detailed knowledge of how to work with IT teams and their process for development of IT projects. • Broad based business experience and knowledge of PSE&G operations. • Web interface knowledge/HTML • Knowledge of XML and DITA Architecture • Advanced knowledge of excel L.
