Description: The individual will be working with the Microprocessor Test Development (MTD) lab, and Advantest Application Engineering to support development, characterization and transfer support of an Advantest 93000 based wafer test program. Task Description: *Completion of Advantest 93000 training. *Completion of TEL (Tokyo Electron Limited) Nano wafer prober training *Completion of Cadence engineering design automation training *Supporting the initial and incremental versions of the PNP (part number program) to a second site where manufacturing will be performed. Possible travel to the second site. *Creation of an Advantest 93000 based wafer test program. Program based on existing IBM part number programs. *Supporting data collection, transfer of data and documentation/presentation for diagnostic support for debug of tests, defect localization and manufacturing characterization.
Requirements: Development/manufacturing Test Application Engineer (TAE) engineer to be part of the team responsible for developing characterization and manufacturing wafer test programs. For this role the work will be focused on development of a custom wafer test part number program on the Advantest 93000 test platform. The test applications engineer in this role will work closely with experienced test development engineers and design for test (DFT) designers to define, verify, and implement test programs that ensure the quality of a custom product. Test application engineers are challenged to solve functional and performance issues related to new VLSI microprocessor designs, and to ensure robust manufacturing test productivity. L.J.
