Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Project Manager for the Statewide Financial System project. *Managing multiple software development lifecycle projects simultaneously *Guiding teams comprised cross-functional, vendor and/or other state agency staff as necessary for completion of project tasks *Developing comprehensive project plans, managing project tasks, communicating project updates and providing required status reports *Mitigating and escalating issues, including Executive level escalation *Managing project scope, deliverables and customer expectations *Functioning as a facilitator to clarify business and technical requirements, which cross project team boundaries *Producing project documentation and deliverables using Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Requirements: *4 years of experience in managing, multiple IT projects where weekly interactions and communications with Executive level stakeholders were required *4 years of experience in managing application development (SDLC) projects *4 years of experience in developing and maintaining schedules in Microsoft Project *4 years of experience in managing software implementation projects or in- house application development projects using industry standard project methodologies, reporting into a formal project management office (PMO) and tracking project schedule and budget performance L.
