Description: We are seeking a candidate who will consult on details of organizing and implementing a radical new supercomputing system. This position brings together expertise in physics, chemistry, and the disciplines of electrical, thermal and mechanical engineering, with the ability to comprehend, optimize, and invent. The candidate must have a track record in the successful design and enablement of large classical supercomputers, with at least 20 years of experience in this area. Broad experience in physics and chemistry is highly desired. Experience in low temperature systems, analog and digital control systems, custom and high volume manufacturing, and data center design is valuable. TS/SCI Clearance with Full-scope Polygraph required.
Requirements: 1) TS/SCI security clearance is mandatory and a willingness to take a full-scope polygraph in the future is strongly desired. 2) 20+ years’ experience in design and enablement of large classical supercomputers 3) Broad experience in physics and chemistry is highly desired 4) Experience in low temperature systems, analog and digital control systems, custom and high volume manufacturing, and data center design. 5) Candidates must be team members comfortable in a badge-less, multi-company organization. 6) Selected candidate will interact with customers through technical exchangemeetings (TEMs), formal reviews at key program milestones, system demonstrations and briefings. 7) Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
