Description: Design For Test and Test Analysis Development Engineer Background: Assist in the development, characterization and manufacturing test patterns for a custom VLSI microprocessor. The selected candidate will be required to work both independently and collaboratively in conjunction with other teams. As such, the ability to be a hand-on person is critical, capable of running tools, while working effectively with others, while having the willingness and ability to learn new tool. Engineers in this role work closely with designers, system labs, characterization, and product engineering teams to define, verify, and implement test patterns for inclusion in test programs that ensure that the VLSI product meets its application specification. Job Duties: Job Duty 1 - Experienced DFT development engineer to be part of the team responsible for developing characterization and manufacturing test patterns for a custom VLSI microprocessors. Job Duty 2 - Engineers in this role work closely with designers, system labs, characterization, and product engineering teams to define, verify, and implement test patterns for inclusion in test programs that ensure that the VLSI product meets its application specification.
Requirements: 1) Strong understanding of VLSI logic design, engineering design automation tools for implementing scan based test methods and macro test based test creation methods. 2) Basic EE concepts (analog, digital, power, signal integrity) 3) Lab skills 4)Programming skills: C, scripting languages such as TCL, REXX, AWK 5) BS/MS EE/CompE required. 6) Must be US Citizen.
