Description: Need for an electronics engineer with systems, software and test experience. Candidates must have experience with general electronics equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes). Must have hands-on skills including soldering and assembly, as well as bring-up and test. Experience in power systems is critical. Candidates must be self-motivated, with the ability to work in a high paced, team-based environment. Job Duties: Job Duty 1 - Power subsystem design review and verification, ripple measurements. stability measurements (bode plots). Job Duty 2 - Debugging of power issues on electronics modules and also wafer. Job Duty 3 - Measurements of power subsystem data and compare to sensor data Job Duty 4 - Coordinate and oversee end-to-end process starting with ordering of printed circuit boards through final assembly of system.
Requirements: Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years experience, where applicable, in each skill: 1) Hand assembly and soldering. 10 years 2) Electronics instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscope, network analyzer). 10 years 3) Test and bringup. 5 years. 4) Electrical engineering. 10 years. 5) Microprocessor software. 5years. 6) IRPS5401 integrated controller along with Vicor components 7) Other: Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable: FPGA skills, 4 years Stability of DC/DC converter optimization (Bode plots), 5 years Spreadsheet creation, update, design L. J.
