Description: *Background: Need for an experienced and detail oriented UX Designer. This person will assist in reimagining legacy products, creating new experiences, and establishing design standards. The selected candidate will work with product owners, iteration managers, engineers, global leadership stakeholders, and other designers to determine the best solutions for user satisfaction and to address business needs. Attention to detail and a strong portfolio in UX, Visual Design, and User Research required. Job Duties: *Leverage Agile and Design Thinking methodologies to help re-imagine user experiences in a collaborative team setting. Be an advocate for Design and User Experience. You will own the end-to-end user experience for an application. *Work with stakeholders, Product Owner, and others independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop the solution and an iterative design plan *Perform user research (interviews, surveys, etc), observation of user tasks and draw insights from product usage data, integrating these findings with business requirements to transform the user's mental model into the user interface *Develop user profiles, usability requirements, use cases and scenarios to articulate the solution experience *Design intuitive and simple user interfaces for web and mobile solutions, producing high quality artifacts including journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, flow diagrams addressing multiple scenarios, to address user needs. Ensure that the look and feel of the products designed adhere to style standards on typography, visual hierarchy, and other main graphic design principles. You will also be responsible for content. *Iteratively prototype designs using the research insights and user feedback you collect and synthesize, as well as technical and strategic input from the project team. *Answer questions from engineers during development phase and perform acceptance testing ahead of deployment *Post-launch, help evaluate success and iteration plan *When re-imagining legacy apps, fully immerse yourself in understanding the existing and to-be state of the entire app *Display teamwork, professionalism, persuasive interpersonal communications skills, and design leadership *Meticulous attention to detail
Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in Design and 5+ years of professional design experience as a lead designer *Demonstrates understanding and experience in an Agile work environment and a Design Thinking practitioner *Strong understanding of design process and an online portfolio highlighting strategic thinking and advocacy for the user. *Proficiency in current UX Design tools. Tools we use include Figma and Mural. *Proficiency in User Research. *Ability to move with agility in a fast-paced, innovative environment * *Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable: *Strong knowledge of design operations *Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques *Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills L.
