Description: Provides cost/ schedule control, direction and methodology to engineering and construction personnel responsible for program control on the capital construction and major maintenance programs. Has overall responsibility for managing the preparation, review and issuance of Schedules for Capital programming, studies, design, construction management, and construction services related to the B&T BU capital and major maintenance programs. Determines the reasonableness of schedules submitted by contractors any consultants. Additionally, establishes and maintains an overall plan for the development and enforcement the scheduling procedures consistent with the applicable industry standards and practices. Manages the production of schedules for programmatic purposes, as well as the review of projects schedules on an as needed basis.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Certification in Construction Management or Cost Engineering Master's degree and/or PE is desirable A minimum of fifteen (15) years of cost scheduling experience of large projects, including bridge and tunnel construction, with a particular emphasis on the NYC area. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a supervisory capacity. Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Schedules L. J. Gonzer Associates is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
