Description: Under supervision, the selected candidate will be responsible to prepare scopes of work, structural design contract drawings and specifications. Review construction shop drawings, and submittals. Perform structural field inspections and surveys for engineering work in connection with ascertaining the physical condition and material properties of existing infrastructure. Assignments will focus on various rail/transit right-of-way structures, stations, and facilities within the planned limits of capital repair, renewal, and/or replacement projects. Multiple assignments may progress simultaneously.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering At least 2 years of related practical experience in the field of Civil/Structural Engineering Familiarity with design, construction, and construction methodsKnowledge of PC applications related to design and construction managementKnowledge of Civil Engineering standards and practicesKnowledge of CADDFamiliarity with rail/transit operations and practices, and mass transit facilitiesStrong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills L.
