Electrical Engineer / Associate Project Manager

Description: -Perform inspection of electrical / automation control systems installation working under general supervision.-Ensure quality and adherence to applicable standards and specifications with emphasis on quality and safety.-Assist with: Field inspections, surveys, evaluating change order proposals, reviewing contractor submittals, and preparing reports as instructed.-Develop automation solutions and participate in various phases of automation projects including creating design specifications, system design, software configuration, programming, and testing, as well as commissioning and start-up of dewatering and ventilation systems utilized in facilities.-Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering -Two years of satisfactory full-time work experience in communications, electrical engineering and Instrumentation & Control engineering design.-Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and programming microprocessor / Programmable Logic Controller system and User Interfaces (HMI, GUI)-Design, program, and troubleshoot relay and PLC control systems-Electrical control panel design-CADD drafting-Moderate skills in graphical editing. -Knowledge of various electrical and communication systems and equipment.-Ability to coordinate multiple tasks between stakeholders includes: contractors, operations, departments and engineering personnel.-Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (especially WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT).-Ability to set priorities and ensure timely completion of assignments.-Automation system (PLC, UI) vendor training / certification-Knowledge for implementing UL508A standard, the National Electric Code (NEC).
