Description: This role is for a candidate to be part of the PMO team responsible for supporting the Program Director, Deputy Program Director and Financial Project Manager. The person in this role will focus on reporting, data collection, and materials management for a highly complex Federal government program. The experienced Senior Materials Business Analyst may support other program assignments, as given by the Program Office.
Requirements: *Experience in project management best practices, processes, and methods, especially with regard to large, complex, multi-year programs with large materials purchases. *Experience managing teams and implementing process change in a fast paced environment *Mastery over formulas, power queries, and other Excel features for handling complex tasks *Handles records through internal systems, sets up and maintains extensive databases with Microsoft Excel *Has the ability to combine multiple existing materials tracking files to automate data processing and determine materials status and spend forecast *Creates pivot tables, reviews data sets, implements complex searches, and provides analytical recommendations based off the information gathered. *At management discretion, initiates/executes Materials Administration best practices and procedures determined by the Program Office and shipping and materials management department. *Comprehensive planning and inventory management skills with a deep understanding of materials management, scheduling, forecasting and supply chain management *Daily/weekly/monthly reports re: material inventory and receivables required. *Prepare or assist in preparation of presentations and charts *Extracts information from reports and gathers required data for completion of client contract deliverables *Assist in audit activities *Creates, maintains, and organize materials database for selected documents (TBD) and audit reporting *Coordinate information flow and follow up on completion of correspondence and reports with Program Office *Documents process and ensures adoption and management of process through throughout program team *Exercises good judgement, be a self-starter, problem solver, and quick learner Required skills/Level of Experience : • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required*PMP Certification required L.
