Description: Under general supervision, with considerable latitude for independent initiative and judgment with a strong focus on user-interface: a) Acts as day-to-day administrator/manager and developer of SharePoint website b) Extends SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts and application technologies c) Reviews website interface and software stability d) Uses SharePoint Framework SPx to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates. e) Applies current graphics design and web-based solutions to develop, modify and maintain SharePoint server portals f) Builds proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software g) Creates web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management. h) Configures department SharePoint systems to meet Agency's requirements i) Develops new web components using appropriate programming language j) Designs code and implements scalable SharePoint applications k) Tests and debugs code l) Troubleshoots software issues m) Provides SharePoint training to staff n) Manages SharePoint accounts and access o) Monitors usage and prepares reports for management
Requirements: -A Bachelor's degree in Coputer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent -Two years of experience in software development, systems analysis, and database administration/maintenance/support -Experience in SharePoint platform specific tools including but not limited to Visio, SharePoint ribbon, SharePoint Designer Visual Studio, SharePoint Object Model (SOM) PowerShell and Microsoft 365. -Familiarity with US Digital standard concepts, practice, and procedures -Has a degree of creativity in approaching solutions -Has the ability to create SharePoint branding -Experience in the following major programming languages: .NET, Web Parts, JavaScript, C#, CSS, HTML5, XML, Typescript, SQL -Experience in UI/UX design -Experience in testing and debugging applications -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Excellent training skills.
