Description: This role is for a candidate to be part of a team responsible for supporting the program Materials Administrator and Shipping department functional areas. The person in this role will focus on reporting, data collection, materials management, shipping support, RFID tagging/barcoding materials as they arrive on locations and diligently tracking where materials are located for the lifetime of the material. The Supply Chain Materials Manager will support any program assignments as given by the Program Office or Hardware Development Team leadership. *At management discretion, initiates/executes Materials Administration best practices and procedures determined by the Program Office and shipping and materials management department. *Comprehensive planning and inventory management skills with a deep understanding of materials management, scheduling, forecasting and warehouse management regarding supply chain management *Daily/weekly/monthly reports re: material inventory and receivables required. *Prepare or assist in preparation of presentations and charts *Extracts information from reports and gathers required data for completion of client contract deliverables *Assist in audit activities *Create, maintain, and organize materials database for selected documents (TBD) and audit reporting *Coordinate information flow and follow up on completion of correspondence and reports with Program Office *Maintain packing slip database and lead time report for Program Office *Exercise good judgement, be a self-starter, problem solver, and quick learner *Willingness to undergo a USG clearance if necessary
Requirements: Required skills/Level of Experience : * Associates degree or equivalent experience required* APICS certification a plus* Ability to lift 50 pounds L. J.
