Description: Responsible for ensuring that project delivery is safe, efficient, on schedule, within budget, and according to project documents, contractual requirements, and relevant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.Monitors project status and identifies project risk and issues.Assists the Construction Manager with management, coordination, field oversight, and inspection of project.Coordinates daily project delivery activities with staff, contractors, consultants, and agency forces to support the safe and efficient execution of project.Monitor Engineering Force Accounts and budgets for all the phases of the projects.Ensure that safety and quality are an integral part of project operations. Manage preparation and monitor implementation of project plans, quality plans, and work plans. Coordinate with Safety and Quality Management staff. Manage project documentation to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy.Perform other assignments as directed by the Construction Manager
Requirements: 
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, architectural technology, business administration, or public administration. A bachelor's in Communications Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in supervising employees performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, on engineering and/or architectural projects.
  • OSHA-30 (Construction) is required prior to starting the position.
  • Proficient computer skills (i.e., Windows environment, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.), and strong business administrative skills (i.e., presentations, report and letter writing, time management, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize project information efficiently and prepare reports.
  • Knowledge of capital project construction procedures preferred.
