Associate Project Manager I- Mechanical

Description: Under direct supervision, assist Project Management in the oversight of capital projectsAssists Engineers and Architects in the collection and treatment of dataPrepares reports that monitors the progress of capital projectsReviews contract drawings and specification prepares daily report, RFI and submittals logsAssists Project Manager with various paperwork requires in the fieldCoordinates with Contractors and Depot Management on various projectsAssist in coordinating formal responses from the design teamPerform other duties as required or assigned by management
Requirements:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in mechanical engineering and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, drafting and code compliance including planning, administering, managing, coordinating, or expediting, for engineering projects
- A Professional Engineer License and valid NYS Driver's License are preferred
- Knowledge of PC applications
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- 30-hour OSHA must be completed prior to starting the position
