CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Description: Under managerial direction, the selected candidate(s) will provide field support with an emphasis on work performed by a third-party contractor during construction and design, including the following: a. Ensure work complies with contract documents b. Complete all required paperwork for contract c. Provide support during the inspection and quality control/quality assurance furnishing an installing of all material and equipment during close-out. d. Assist in the inspection of communications construction projects; monitoring and coordinating several types of project activities, working independently under general supervision. e. Provide project management support service during construction and design. f. Work with Resident Engineer in meeting the project goals and provide support to the PMC/CCM, attending project coordination meetings with stakeholders preparing meeting minutes and following up on action items. g. Monitor safety ensuring all personnel, including internal personnel, Contractor and Subcontractors, comply with safety requirements of the contract. h. Prepare regularity and in a timely manner Daily Reports, Quality and Safety Check Lists and Reports, Field Condition Survey Reports, Field Sketches, scopes of work for change orders, estimates, additional work order packages and any other report as required by the Construction Manager/Resident Engineer. i. Prepare, submit and coordinate necessary requests for services, such as Flagging, Access & Protection, etc.
Requirements: A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, architectural technology, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration, and one year of full-time satisfactory experience One to five years' full time satisfactory experience (depending on combination of experience and education) performing project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating or expediting on engineering projects, or supervising a construction project with a value of $l million or more. 30-Hour OSHA Certification and 8-hour Lead Awareness Course must be completing prior to starting the position.
