Description: * 'Research' program, has a need for an experienced engineering Technician. This engineer will assist in the fab operations support of advanced semiconductor technology. The selected candidate will work in 300mm fabrication unit and directly work with equipment, equipment owners, equipment vendors and operators to track daily tool problems, troubleshoot equipment alarms, track statistical control charts, use SiView to move lots and execute engineering experiments.
Requirements: *1. Background: IBM"s 'Research' program, has a need for an experienced engineering Technician. This engineer will assist in the fab operations support of advanced semiconductor technology. The selected candidate will work in 300mm fabrication unit and directly work with equipment, equipment owners, equipment vendors and operators to track daily tool problems, troubleshoot equipment alarms, track statistical control charts, use SiView to move lots and execute engineering experiments. Job Duties: *Job Duty 1 - Own daily tool execution ? Lot/wafer force completes, Tool inhibit investigation and closure - Job Duty 2 - Analyze particle level, deposition rate or etch rate data on 300m wafers and communicate on the same ? Address any other manufacturing concern- Job Duty 3 ? Track wSPC or conrol charts to highlight trends and potential excursions*Job Duty 4 ? Support the fab operations using Siview software. *3. Basic Skills, clearances and other elements required, in order of importance, and number of years" experience, where applicable, in each skill: - Fab experience - Strong teamwork skills- ability to manage time/resources well- Strong verbal and written communicationskills required. Briefing experienced an asset. *4. Other Skills Desired, Years in each skill, where applicable: - Equipment troubleshooting skills- Knowledge of or ability to learn SiView, web-based specification process controls (1+ years) L. J.
