Civil/Structural - Associate Project Manager

Description: Under managerial direction, the selected candidate(s) will be responsible to prepare Civil/Utility scope of work, design contract drawings and specifications.Responsible to review consultant design drawings and specification, construction shop drawings and submittals.Individual performance of Civil/Utility field inspection and surveys for engineering work in connection with ascertaining the physical condition and material properties of the existing infrastructure.Assignments will focus on various rail/transit right-of-way structures, stations, and facilities within the planned limits of capital repair, renewal, and/or replacement projects.Multiple assignments may progress simultaneously.Coordinate project activities with the project team, C&D staff, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.Ensure project activities follow established requirements and adhere to all relevant standards, guidelines, codes, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements: 
  • BS in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration or public administration. A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • 2 years experience.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, MicroStation, and CADD.
  • The ability to write clearly, organize and analyze project information, and interact/communicate with consultants and various departments.
  • Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Excellent communications skills and teamwork capabilities
  • Knowledge and/or experience with project management procedures and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery and associated contract document preparation.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with mass-transit facilities preferable.
