Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Software Architect.*Work on complex software in a fast-paced, high volume work environment. *Manage multiple projects at the same time. *Utilize effective communication and facilitation skills to reach consensus among stakeholders. *Deliver clear, specific, and respectful oral and written communications to business owners, IT program team members, and management. *Analyze and revise flow charts, process models and technical specs describing as-is or to-be IT systems or business processes. *Provide regular status updates to upper management on various projects and keep them abreast of risk, issues, and mitigation plans. *Guide requirements gathering meetings to elicit functional and/or operational requirements to define system functionality and current operations. *Coordinate and document resolution of requirements and technical design comments and gaps with business and vendor staff.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in managing large ($100 million or greater) complex IT projects where regular interactions with executive-level stakeholders has been required.
- 7 years of experience working on an IT implementation of the Affordable Care Act, e.g. New York State of Health (NYSoH) or other Marketplace, which includes automated Eligibility determination and automatic Enrollment into a chosen plan. (Not Healthcare, Not Claims Processing).
- 7 years of experience supporting Change Request development activities involving the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid, including creating and reviewing designs for proposed solutions, defining technical requirements for business and operational systems, and supporting their implementation.
- 7 years of experience analyzing and developing business and operational processes involving the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid.
- 7 years of experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures/triggers/functions in DB2/Oracle for data extraction and data integration purposes in multi-terabyte database.
- 7 years of experience in data interrogation, analysis, and profiling including generation of detailed and executive level reports.
- 5 years of experience managing projects, supervising staff. PMP Certification is preferable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
