Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Senior Project Manager. You'll lead multiple, concurrent development programs through proposal, funding, development, qualification and volume production for our client in the Aerospace industry based in Parsippany, NJ.*Initiating activity within client site to satisfy customer contract scope/statement of work *Proactively drive achievement of major milestones and high customer satisfaction *Using industry experience to recognize and preemptively address technical, cost, and schedule risks *Act as primary point of contact for assigned customers *Creation and release of project Work Breakdown Structure with approved budgets *Creation and maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule *Facilitating IPD Process compliance by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements. *Facilitate internal and customer weekly team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists *Create Monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects and presenting to Executive Leadership *Provide Program Management support of new business proposals; create PM deliverables to the management volume *Manage Bids for new, or follow-on, business proposals *Achievement of NRE Cost, Design to Cost, and Schedule performance against budget for assigned projects *Review and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reports *Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues *Monitor and control of project scope *Escalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team level *Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects *Identifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customers *Supporting significant proposals with related PMO inputs *Initiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and Schedules *Abide by all safety, quality, and company policies/procedures to ensure compliance to various regulatory and internal system requirements
Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in Engineering required *4- 7 years of program management experience *PMP certification preferred *Experience working within aerospace or a similar technical field preferred *Experience with Additive Manufacturing technologies is a plus *Highly analytical and detail-oriented *Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertise *Effective verbal and written communication skills *Intimate knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution *General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems *Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required for multifaceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization, as well as any and all outside agents, including but not limited to; vendors, suppliers, customers, etc. *Strong attention to detail and follow-up L.
