Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for working on Technical Specifications, Guidelines, Design and CADD Standards, Project Requirements and Design Criteria Master-Documents under the direction of Principal Engineer. Assignments will focus on coordination and communication within Business Units for master source documents and staff training & development. Multiple assignments may progress simultaneously.
Requirements: Baccalaureate Degree in Civil Engineering; a master's degree in civil engineering will be accepted as equivalent to one year of full-time experience. At least 6 years of related practical experience in the field of Civil/Structural Engineering; at least 1 year out of the last three as a major contributor or project lead on a complex project. A valid New York State Professional Engineer's license is required. Knowledge of Engineering including guidelines, specifications, and standards of performance.Knowledge of capital design, construction procedure and field operations.Knowledge of operations and practices of mass transit facilities.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of BIM/CADD, Microsoft PowerPoint and Software related to project design/construction, project writing and technical presentation.
