Description: Provide civil engineering support for capital projects:*Perform inspection of civil aspects of the project working under general supervision. *Ensure quality and adherence to applicable standards and specifications with emphasis on quality and safety. *Assisting with field inspections, evaluating change order proposals, reviewing contractor submittals and preparing reports as instructed. *Will support program area in any project management activities assigned. These duties include but are not limited to: preparing updated drawings and participating in field surveys and construction inspections. *Write daily report and upload on website. *Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements: 

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 2 years of experience in the field of civil/structural engineering
• OSHA-30 certification
• 8-hour Lead Awareness Course
• Familiarity with Civil/Utility design, construction, and construction method
• Knowledge of Personal Computer applications related to design and construction management
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering standards and practices
• Familiarity with rail/transit operations and practices, and mass transit facilities is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Asite project management software
