Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Programmer.*Maintenance of existing systems as well as new development work related to legislative initiatives *Participate in requirements gathering phase *Analysis, design, coding and unit/integration testing *Create and update program specification and detail design documentation *Research and fix production issues *Application performance tuning *Mentor staff on programming standards *Troubleshoot complex production issues
Requirements: 

• 7 years of COBOL programming experience
• 7 years of JCL experience
• 7 years of IBM DB2 experience working with large databases
• 5 years of IDMS Database experience
• 5 years of experience writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems
• 5 years of system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems
