Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Planner/Scheduler.*Review contractor's monthly project schedules and prepare analysis reports. *Review contractor's time extension request and prepare delay analysis. *Review contractor's claim delay and prepare analysis. *Track potential changes, ensuring estimates of cost and schedule changes are given visibility with project management and agency owners. *Integrate cost and schedule data information from vendors and external entities to facilitate schedule and budget performance reporting. *Develop reporting mechanisms, dashboards, and presentations about project performance. *Develop and maintain automated project controls tools and workflows. *Partner closely with business units to assess new and ongoing projects. *Monitor actuals and works with other peers to review forecasting against budget.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's Degree, in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software including experience developing schedule delay analysis and schedule claim analysis.
  • Experience in communication and systems engineering type projects preferred.
  • Knowledge of capital construction contracts and procedures.
  • Proficiency in the use of Primavera 6 scheduling software and other software applications relevant to scheduling and reporting.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending contract drawings.
  • Skilled in analyzing and presenting in depth job progress.
  • Significant experience on time extension claim analysis and report writing.
  • Ability to handle working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and multi-task.
  • Strong analytic problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including SharePoint, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
