Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Web Developer.The consultant will perform communication, web development, and some project management tasks including:*Daily and as requested website postings (approximating 1,000 per year), e.g.: List of Value Added Resellers, List of Agency Coordinators / Employee Data Administrators, Update Release Calendars. *Web page / content set up and maintenance: Supports routine web page creation and content posting for events such as: FYE, Lapsing, P2P, Personnel, Admin and HR announcements. *Web maintenance:*Categorization and maintenance of content management system tags and metadata. *Organization and clean-up of outdated content as requested and at specified retention review periods. *Upgrade and maintain current versions of Joomla! plug-ins. *Upgrade and maintain current versions of the custom Joomla! site template. *Remediate any potential security risks within Joomla! reported by the Process Quality & Compliance Bureau. *Gather metrics and analyze Google Analytics reports for support staff. *Generate process documentation as required. *Troubleshooting if any site functionality is interrupted *SharePoint page management and support. *Software development (Power Automate/Apps) to meet agency business needs. *Special projects as required (e.g., administration of statewide Learning Management System courses). *These responsibilities are carried out across two Joomla! Environments and two SharePoint collections.
Requirements: 
  • 7 years of experience developing/writing internal and external facing communications.
  • 7 years of experience with web information architecture development.
  • 7 years of experience in web user interface/ user experience development in a Joomla! CMS environment.
  • 7 years of experience in website maintenance.
  • 7 years of experience with developing and editing web style sheets and page code.
  • 7 years of experience creating and editing banners, ads, icons, and other images.
  • 7 years of experience project managing web and/or communications tasks and plans.
