Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Software Manager. *Support the Early Intervention Program with the New York Early Intervention System (NYEIS) and other DOH data systems *Address the Early Early Intervention Program's (EIP's) functions of child referral and intake, case management, developmental evaluations, service planning, service delivery, service providers' claiming, service provider's payment, 3rd party insurance claiming (commercial and Medicaid), state vouchering, provider application and approval, reporting, auditing, and compliance with Federal and State requirements *Support migration of these functions and data to a replacement system, as well as managing testing support for this migration and post go-live deliverables *Work closely with the Program Area, Project, and ITS managers, along with the NYEIS technical team to ensure the NYEIS system assignments are moving forward, most specifically those associated with the NYEIS system replacement project *Tasks can include those relating to data migration or testing efforts *Work with NYEIS technology team to develop new and maintain existing documentation related to NYEIS *Attend and participate in meetings, prepare a weekly report, complete NYS LATS timecard daily
Requirements: *Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field or business administration *7 years experience with directly managing software applications, establishing/maintaining resource schedules, and status reporting *7 years experience with facilitating communication during the entire Software Development Life Cycle including meetings between vendors and staff *5 years experience with planning and managing web-based, service-oriented architecture applications and infrastructure upgrade projects *5 years experience providing task estimates to the Project Manager *5 years experience establishing priorities using information from the Project and Program managers *5 years experience with managing the evolution and maintenance of three-tier architecture applications *3 years experience with planning and implementing automated, data exchange between internal and external systems *3 years experience managing applications in public health, healthcare, third party insurance claiming, or case management application delivery area *2 years experience managing an application built using Cúram Social Program Management *Certification in one of the following areas: Project Management, Business Analysis, or Quality Assurance L.
