Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Systems Architect. This position will largely keep the lights on of the present NYEIS application, manage any architecture updates for this legacy system, and support system decommission and transition of functions to a third party vendor.*Responsible for the strategy, integration and design of the applications and platforms *Creates, validates and/or implements hardware and software design and changes to provide a platform for the NYEIS application *Provides direction to the development team in execution of the construction, enhancement, and operation of the application *Monitor System performance and perform corrective measures including administrative procedures *Work closely with Project Manager and ITS Manager on active/pending projects, Prepare Documentation, Address Level 3 Help Desk tickets as needed *Attend and participate in meetings, prepare a weekly report, complete NYS LATS timecard daily
Requirements: *Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field *7 years experience designing, deploying, and/or managing a three-tier, high- availability system running on open systems using virtual servers *7 years experience of overseeing and directly designing, implementing, and managing internal and external application or electronic data interfaces *4 years experience managing web application servers, such as WebSphere *6 years experience with Systems Analysis and documenting/updating system information *4 years experience with monitoring tools such as Tivoli and CA Wily Introscope *4 years experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring *3 years experience with planning and implementing platform upgrades *6 years experience in Oracle 10g or higher development *2 years experience maintaining an application built using Cúram Social Program Management L.
