Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as an Administrative Manager.Provide support for VP, and senior management team in coordinating and scheduling workflow within the unit. Candidate will be expected to:*Use Microsoft Suite of applications to compile, draft, track, file, and edit senior management documents and information. *Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings and conference calls; screening and directing calls and messages; handling inquiries; gathering and disseminating information appropriate to support and the VP and his team. *Track and distribute documents and timesheets. *Update and maintain various computer-based systems, files, data, and records. *Coordinate meeting facilities and arrangements, travel arrangements, training requests, and other administrative tasks or projects. *Monitor and order supplies as needed. *Assist in the overall efficient operation of the office. *Function as liaison with other staff and units as needed. *Perform any other administrative or software-related task as assigned by the VP or members of his staff.
Requirements: 
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or related field with 4 years of administrative experience.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree candidate may have an Associate's degree in one of the above areas and 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated working experience with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to demonstrate clear and concise written skills for multiple audiences using either formal or more casual tones.
  • Strong verbal communications skills.
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Flexibility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Anticipate and promptly resolve potential issues.
  • Knowledge in project management tools such as ASite, PSR, and/or P6 is desirable.
