Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as an Assistant Civil Engineer. You'll be responsible for providing civil engineering support for Capital Projects. *Assignments will focus on various right-of-way structures, stations, and facilities within the planned limits of capital repair, renewal, and/or replacement projects *Prepare scopes of work *Civil/Utility design contract drawings and specifications *Reviewing construction shop drawings, and submittals *Performing Civil/Utility field inspections and surveys for engineering work in connection with ascertaining the physical condition and material properties of existing infrastructure
Requirements: *Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering *At least 2 years of related practical experience in the field of Civil/Structural Engineering *Familiarity with Civil/Utility design, construction, and construction methods *Knowledge of Civil Engineering standards and practices *Knowledge of MicroStation and Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) *Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills L.
