Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Real Estate Development Leader. In this contract role, you'll assist our client with all aspects of acquisition, disposition, and development projects. *Developing strategies for implementing projects *Identifying opportunities for assemblages to develop parcels and for joint developments *Procuring site massing studies *Procuring and assembling project sites *Negotiating with public and private property owners *Developing negotiating strategies *Working with legal counsel to negotiate complex real estate documents *Preparing Requests for Proposals *Developing project estimates *Addressing RFP issues timely and by defined priority *Evaluating proposals *Collecting pertinent site data, appraisals, environmental reports, massing studies, and other necessary information *Making presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements: *Substantial experience in negotiating and structuring complex, multi-party commercial real estate transactions *Demonstrated expertise in real estate project management *Demonstrated experience negotiating sophisticated legal documents and leveraging expertise of in-house and/or outside legal counsel *Demonstrated significant knowledge and experience with:*New York City land use regulations, processes and strategy *Long-term ground leases *Negotiating complex real estate transactions involving governmental agencies and/or nonprofits *Resolving complex issues and disputes *Strong oral, written, presentation and leadership skills *Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment L.
