Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Quality Control Specialist. This will be in support of Capital Projects. *Monitor quality management activities for projects including submittal reviews, non-conformance systems, identification/development of corrective action plans as needed, and ongoing sites visits *Provides ongoing review, development and update of quality related procedures, guidelines and other documentation *Performs ongoing project quality assessment, makes recommendations, and conducts follow-ups to ensure correction of identified project deficiencies *Provides monthly quality reports and updates on quality activities and project status for presentation for Senior Management *Develops and provides quality related training for contractor/consultant quality personal to enhance awareness of quality processes and requirements *Works with various groups/personnel to identify and initiate improvements in processes, procedures, requirements, and activities to ensure the successful execution of capital projects
Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation or a related field
• Candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years construction experience in quality control including quality management systems (QMS), and all basic quality concepts: quality data collection; quality auditing; and/or system development with quality control programs
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and business staff
• Knowledge of capital construction contracts and procedures
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications including SharePoint, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Familiar and hands-on experience with Quality concepts and processes, including FTA and ISO 9001
