Description: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as an Entry level Civil Engineer.*Support engineering activities within the engineering office and will be expected to assist in design and construction of projects varied in size and complexity *Mainly trackwork and track switches in accordance with standards and procedures *Perform surveys using topographical instruments, drafts using CADD *Design and write contract specifications and reports *Assist in providing field technical support by performing visual inspections, and construction drawings
Requirements: *Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Railway Engineering *EIT Certification (Engineer-In-Training) *Valid New York State Driver License *1 year experience in surveying using Total Station and Drafting using CADD (Microstation preferred) *Proficiency in the use of MS Office Word, Excel, and Adobe L.
