Description: L.J. Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Software Architect.Job responsibilities include:*Working in conjunction with a Business Analyst to gather user requirements by conducting information gathering sessions, participating in requirements interviews and workshops, documenting existing systems and processes, and documenting future state requirements. *Writing production worthy code in C# with both MVC and Web Forms based applications for our member, district, and board member portals. *Performing unit testing of new and existing code, and creating in-code documentation for our member, district, and board member portals. *Participating in discussions of the definition, design, and construction of web processes and data structures to support project requirements. *Tracking the full development lifecycle progress using User Story records within our ServiceNow tool. *Thoroughly documenting technical specifications within User Story records within our ServiceNow tool. *Branching code within the Team Foundation Server source control solution and checking code back in periodically and merging into Trunk when complete.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in both Console and ASP.NET Web Development.
- 4 years of experience writing C#/VB.Net code using the .NET framework.
- 4 years of experience writing and creating SQL packages and stored procedures.
- 3 years of experience in gathering user requirements by conducting information gathering sessions, facilitating requirements interviews and workshops, documenting existing systems and processes, and documenting future state requirements.
- 2 years of experience in integrating web applications with Enterprise HRMS systems.
- 2 years of experiencing using a source control solution to manage code repositories within a team of developers (personal code repository experience not qualifiable).
- A Bachelor's degree.
